I am very passionate about creating the right environment within my classes and I feel Poptastic is unique with its lesson structure.

For me, a relaxed environment that creates a close frame for friendship, teamwork and trust within the group is utmost important to me. I believe that having a safe environment, whatever the age, one where a pupil can be themselves and not feel pressure is a very important part of their week.

I always offer a free class so you can experience Poptastic first hand, if it’s for you, you will know and feel it straight away! We would be very excited to welcome you!

A TYPICAL LESSON

We start the lesson with a quick catch up, hearing any news that any of the students would like to share with the group. Week by week, there grows a real sense of belonging and team ethos within the class. I feel this is vital to help create a healthier and happier person. Along with improving fitness, exciting dance routines, the focus is just as much on an individual’s wellbeing and I pride myself on making sure I know and understand each and every pupil.

There is also a chance regularly to work on choreography. Working in a group and igniting your imagination with dance is a popular part of the lesson. Pupils are given the opportunity to create their own dance moves and along with guidance from myself and my helpers its always very rewarding to see the fantastic ideas that come to life!

OUR ANNUAL SHOW

Along with other public performances the highlight of the year is the Poptastic Dance Show at the Leatherhead Theatre. This creates a clear goal, excels teamwork and unleashes a huge amount of excitement! I make sure the show still reflects what Poptastic is about, it’s still fun, exciting but relaxed and with as little stress as possible for both pupils and parents!
